What your working view should show

Delivery coordination

Connect packages, current documents, submittals, RFIs and assigned work.

Field evidence

Record the location, observed condition, response and submitted correction without overwriting source findings.

Closeout

Carry reviewed outcomes, product information and outstanding obligations into the receiving property team.

Your team, your partners, clear responsibility

Keep your employees, contractors and qualified specialists at the center. Add implementation support or a separately scoped professional engagement when you need it.

Follow a complete handoff

Follow a finding through assessment, assignment, response and reviewer verification. Return incomplete work for correction, then keep the original finding and reviewed outcome together in the building history.

Installers and subcontractors

A clear assignment. An accountable response.

The intended workflow connects the assigned condition, current source detail, work location and evidence needed for review. The public workspace demonstrates these responsibilities using synthetic records.

Installers

Identify the assigned location and the drawing, detail or requirement that applies. Raise a clarification when the information is incomplete, and document the work with the requested location-specific evidence.

Submit the response for the designated review. Keep the original observation, the correction and the reviewer's disposition distinguishable.

Subcontractors

Coordinate assigned packages, crews, access windows, RFIs, corrective work and closeout obligations. Make the next responsible person and any outstanding clarification visible.

Link revised responses to the same issue and location, including what changed after a response was returned for correction. Assigned participation remains within the authorized project and work scope.

Make the correction straightforward to review.

  1. Confirm the scope: use the current source revision, correct location and original finding. Identify any missing detail or decision before relying on it.
  2. Coordinate the work: record the assigned response, access needs and requested review. Where work will become concealed, raise the review or evidence requirement in time for the responsible parties to act.
  3. Return usable evidence: connect the correction description and photographs or test references to the same location. State any limitation or remaining work.
  4. Follow the disposition: a submission awaits review. If it is returned, address the stated reason; verification and owner acknowledgment remain separate responsibilities.

A project assignment determines permitted participation. A response does not establish professional acceptance or authority to proceed. The public sample is for illustrative work; real project records belong in the channel agreed with the project team.
